Hey there, my name is Ben. I am a mid-level software engineer with a breadth of technical experience. I fell in love with computers in third grade when my father helped me put together my first website. I have been building websites and exploring technology ever since.
I attended the University of Cincinnati and majored in Information Technology. During my time at UC I interned at three notable companies. Through my coursework and internships I expanded my technical skillset and learned the work ethic required to meet business demands.
During my senior year of college I ran across a job listing for a software engineering internship at a startup company, Activehours. I was lucky enough to receive the position, and as they say, the rest is history. I have been working full time for the last two years, soaking up new programming concepts every day.
Of course I do have interests outside of the computer realm. I enjoy music, cars, gaming, investing, and having a beer after a hard day's work, among other things.
